Dharma Bridge:Tibetan Buddhism (online, real-time)
Wednesdays at 4pm Pacific time (7pm Eastern) we gather for 60 minutes online via our GoToMeeting platform for collaborative, interactive Dharma teachings and discussions . . . all done with an eye toward practical applications. We share in teachings from the rich lineage of Dharma masters, ranging from Buddha Shakyamuni up through and including contemporary teachers. Our studies include sutras, commentaries and derivative works.
All of our Dharma Bridge events are given freely in a friendly, supportive environment, applicable for those of all ages and type/level (or absence) of religious/spiritual experience. We remain respectful of the teachings and each other’s participation in them.
Handout study materials are distributed via e-mail in advance of the gatherings.
All that is needed is a computer (some are using smart phones) with high-speed internet connection, speakers, web camera and microphone. GoToMeeting is free for participants' use (Chenrezig Project pays the fees).
All are welcome; for more information (including log-in links), please send an e-mail to Mark Winwood at firstname.lastname@example.org.
