Dharma Practics: Tibetan Buddhism
We gather regularly on alternate Thursdays (the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursday of each month) at 6:00-8:00pm (Pacific) at Longevity Foods, 14701 Main St NE, Duvall, King County WA to discuss and learn Tibetan Buddhism’s ideas and perspectives, along with practical applications for their use. We study teachings from the rich lineage of Dharma masters, ranging from Buddha Shakyamuni up through and including contemporary teachers. Our studies include sutras, commentaries and derivative works.
Meditation practice is also an aspect of what we do, supportive of those just beginning on this path as well as enriching for those more further along. (Personal instruction is freely given.)
All of our events are given freely in a friendly, supportive environment, applicable for those of all ages and type/level (or absence) of religious/spiritual experience. We remain respectful of the teachings and each other’s participation in them.
Handout study materials and snacks are provided.
Beginning soon we will have one evening per month serve as “Dharma Film Night” during which we’ll watch and discuss a film from our rich digital library.
For more information, please send an e-mail Mark Winwood at email@example.com.
All are welcome; we hope to share these events with you.
