The Chenrezig Project of Central Florida, in partnership with Lake Eustis Institute, is pleased to present the Florida Dharma Film Festival (FLharma), consisting of films and discussion encouraging peace and compassion.

The festival will air at the Lake Eustis Institute, a life-long learning center that encourages creative thought in arts, culture, humanities and science in downtown Eustis, less than an hour away from Orlando. The Florida Dharma Film Festival is a precious new showcase, providing Florida audiences with opportunities to discover films that communicate and share the beauty of Tibetan Buddhist culture and spirituality, as well as the Dalai Lama's significant influence on humanity.

For this inaugural festival, eight films were chosen for screening from a large catalog of works. The films screening are (subject to change):

7:00 - 7:45 Escape Over the Himalayas - An unforgettable look at the Tibetan exile quest for freedom; an underground classic (45 mins)
8:15 - 9:45 The Cup - Buddhism is their philosophy, soccer their religion; award winner (90 mins)
Saturday, March 13
1:00 - 1:50 Soul of Tibet - A biography of His Holiness the Dalai Lama (50 mins)
2:00 - 3:30 Knowledge of Healing - The science of Tibetan medicine (89 mins)
4:00 - 4:45 Tibetan Book of the Dead pt. 1 - Tibetan wisdom of dying, death and thereafter; fascinating (45 mins)
5:15 - 6:00 Spirit of Tibet (film about Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche) - A film about the life of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, a true Tibetan master (47 mins)

7:00 - 7:45 Tibetan Book of the Dead pt. 2 - Depicts the hows and whys of the practices around the death of a Tibetan man (45 mins)
8:15 - 10:00 The Unmistaken Child - A modern-day story of reincarnation (102 mins)

Our venue is cozy, space is extremely limited, passes for seating (entire festival, unlimited in and out) are now available by suggested donation of $20.
