The events of the world, both far away and in our communities, involving strangers and loved ones, are unsettling, confusing, complicated and ever-changing.
For many, these are extraordinarily fertile conditions in which to expose oneself to wise, new ideas . . . meaningful in both simple and/or profound ways.
Ideas that might require courage to explore . . . that will bring you to ask questions you haven’t yet considered . . .and to engage in the answers.
Suddenly, as insight and personal revelation replace orthodoxy, as new views replace narrow and tired ones, you may find shackles that have unknowingly bound you are beginning to snap.
This is called “awakening” . . . a process incumbent deep in the human mind . . . it arises as unfettered hope, strength, confidence, clarity, wisdom, morality, patience, empowerment and determination.
