Seven days to go before Inauguration Day; for some a most-dreaded event.
There’s been so much hand-wringing, online rants, conversation . . . heartfelt expressions of disappointment, anger, fear, disgust, disbelief, confusion, arrogance, superiority, hopelessness, disempowerment, apathy.
Change is occurring.
It is time to evolve.
Everything is always changing: people, places, times, ideas.
Those that adapt survive; those that don’t become irrelevant . . . then extinct.

Our primitive, self-centered mindset, progressively harmful to our well-being, Is becoming increasingly obsolete in these modern times.
Stubborn and manipulative, abiding egoism is a most dangerous foe, but because it stems from our own mind, we possess the ability to diminish its impact . . . evolving into wiser, more wholesome perspectives and attitudes.
Trump is an icon, a pontificating ‘Mara” of acute self-centeredness.
And while he has achieved an absurd pinnacle of power-seizing success, even in his grotesqueness he portrays traits common to us all.
Look upon him, hear his tone, listen to his words, watch his activities.
In so doing we are witnessing a perverse uber-extreme of the very same self-cherishing perspectives each of us harbors in our mind.
It is not Trump the sentient being who disgusts, but rather the spewed offal of his vulgar self-cherishing.
Seeing the wicked effects of this unstable, dangerous demeanor so clearly — arrogant, ugly self-ishness run amok — consider: could there be a better time than now to begin moving beyond our own self-serving influences and points of view?
Untangle. Understand. Clarify. Evolve.
Science can’t help us do this. Medicine won’t be of assistance.
Neither will good food, beautiful places or friends and family.
Here’s how: we endeavor to become more familiar with the workings of our mind, uncovering inner wisdom and then humbly sharing the brilliance that emerges.
This leads us to experientially know that “me” is no more than just a tiny bit of the infinite “us” . . . with a responsibility to it all.
We then engage mindfully and skillfully with everything coming our way.

Yes, change is occurring, much of it looking to be unpleasant.
Fear not. Be a force within the change by being a proactive guide through it, rather than an unhappy victim of it.
Trump, along with his bitter greed and hatred, is arriving; now just seven days away, but he and his ilk are only passing through.
Use him as a turning point for wholesome personal growth.
Employ whatever it is you feel as motivational fuel to evolve through and beyond what he represents . . . then act accordingly.
There are ways to do this. A trail has already been blazed.
~Neither grief or a broken heart, or fear, precludes you from traveling it.
