You look at a flower.
If you pay attention to the flower, your experience is scientific.
If you pay attention to the witness of the flower, it becomes spiritual.
A scientist and a spiritual man may be standing side-by-side, looking at the same event, being as they normally “are” . . . and they are not looking in the same way. Nor are they seeing the same thing.
Consider how you “look” at things; what is your perspective as the seer? Quiet down, identify your vantage point . . .
Clear or muddy? Fertile or stale? Imaginatively insightful or tired judgment? Imprisoned or free? Brilliant or boring? Alive or dead?
– Neither grief or a broken heart, or fear, precludes you from doing this.
