Reinvention

(Dharma) Bread Crumb #7
BC7There are times when something so sad, so terrible, so shocking gets hold of us that our breath seems to leave and we can’t even cry.

In the aftermath of these events – whether their scope is personal, global or anything between — it is often beneficial to reassess our “picture” of the world and our place in it.

Un-asked for? Yes.   Difficult? Yes.    Unsettling? Yes.

But try to consider the profound benefits incumbent in re-invention . . . to think lightly of oneself, and deeply of others . . . to allow bold, new perspectives to arise . . . for imagination to soar . . . to emerge . . . to walk differently upon the planet.

Siddhartha said that whatever one keeps pursuing with thinking and pondering becomes the inclinations of their mindfulness and the activities of their life.

Identify and use the opportunities to do this as they present themselves to you . . . they are always presenting themselves.

– Neither grief or a broken heart, or fear, precludes you from doing this.
